Rayzon Solar plans to begin production at its 5.1 GW TOPCon solar cell facility in December 2026, with initial deliveries expected in the first quarter of 2027. The Gujarat-based company says the plant will extend its manufacturing operations beyond solar modules and help reduce reliance on imported cells.

Founded in 2017, Rayzon Solar has an installed module manufacturing capacity of 11.3 GW. The company is also planning a 5.1 GW facility for ingot casting and wafer slicing, with development targeted by 2028. It is discussing incentives and potential locations with several state governments.

Rayzon has completed an aluminium extrusion and anodising facility with annual capacity of 19,800 metric tonnes, intended to produce solar module frames. The company also reported three patent filings over the past year and said its research includes tandem solar cells and nano-coatings for next-generation modules, with product launches targeted by 2028.

The company said it remains focused on its manufacturing plans despite shifting from IPO proceeds to debt financing amid market volatility.
