Germany’s Federal Network Agency awarded 288 MW of solar capacity across 143 projects in its latest tender for photovoltaic systems on buildings and noise barriers. The volume-weighted average award price was €0.0967/kWh.
The agency received 177 bids representing a combined 347 MW. It excluded 34 bids totaling 58 MW from the award process, but did not publish the reasons; unsuccessful bidders will be notified directly. The amount of capacity submitted was up from 296 MW in the previous round, held in July.
Awarded prices ranged from €0.085/kWh to €0.10/kWh, with the average remaining just below the maximum permitted price. The average was slightly lower than July’s €0.0972/kWh.
North Rhine-Westphalia received the largest share, with 38 projects totaling 66 MW. Hessen followed with 11 bids for 30 MW, Brandenburg with 14 bids for 28 MW, and Lower Saxony with 16 bids for 27 MW.
